Microsoft Excel Intermediate

Description

This course is designed for participants who already have a basic understanding of Microsoft Excel and want to take their skills to the next level. Building on foundational knowledge, you’ll learn to work more efficiently, analyze data with greater depth, and take advantage of Excel’s advanced features to create professional, dynamic spreadsheets.

 

Topics:

  • Customization: Ribbon and Quick Access Toolbar

  • Names & Linking: Named Ranges, links to other sheets and external workbooks

  • Formatting & Visualization: Conditional Formatting, creating and managing Tables and Charts

  • Data Analysis: Building and analyzing data with PivotTables

  • Functions: Logical functions (IF(S), SUMIF(S), AVERAGEIF(S), COUNTIF(S))

  • Lookup Tools: VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP

 

Note: Access to the Microsoft Excel desktop app is required. For the best experience, we recommend using two monitors or screens so you can follow along while practicing your new skills.

Intended Audience

This course is ideal for individuals who are comfortable with the basics of Excel and want to expand their skills. It’s suited for anyone who needs to work more efficiently with data, create reports, and apply intermediate-level Excel functions in their role.

Prerequisites

Participants should be comfortable with basic Excel skills, including creating and saving workbooks, navigating worksheets, formatting cells, and using simple formulas. A general working knowledge of Windows is also required.
