This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills to properly maintain as-built drawings on a construction project and share up to date information with your project team at all times and create easy to navigate digital drawings with hyperlinks & Bluebeam Revu.
Part 1: Hyperlinks
The Hyperlinks portion of the course will teach you how to harness the power of hyperlinks, overlays, and page labels to create easy to navigate digital drawings. You will have the knowledge and skills to take basic PDF construction documents and create hyper-linked PDFs that give your project team(s) accurate drawings that include all changes and revisions.

Part 2: Drawing Management
The Drawing Management part of the course will teach you the fundamentals of using Bluebeam Revu for Document Control and will equip you with the knowledge and skills to properly maintain as-built drawings on a construction project and share up to date information with your project team at all times.

Intended Audience
Any field or office professionals in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry that needs to manage construction documents. These are typically individuals that work for the Owner, Architect, Engineer, Developer, Construction Manager, or General Contractor.
Most trade contractors do not need to maintain as-built drawings and may find this course unnecessary for their needs.

Computer Requirements
You will need TWO screens for the training to be effective.
- The first screen needs to be a Windows computer with Bluebeam Revu 2020 installed.
- The second screen is to display the Zoom meeting, this could be a second monitor, a larger tablet (9" +) or a smart phone displayed on to a TV.
- Optional: the third screen is to display the PDF workbook (this could be a third monitor, a larger tablet (9" +) or a smart phone displayed on to a TV).
- It is highly recommended that you also have a 3-button mouse (typical computer mouse)
Bluebeam Revu Requirements
You will need a fully functioning version of Bluebeam Revu 2020. Any Windows version is ok (Standard, CAD, or eXtreme). The Mac version will not work. If you have an older version of Bluebeam Revu (2019 or older), you can download a 2020 trial and install it ‘side by side’ your existing install. This will allow you to continue to use your older version without losing your license and you can use the new version to follow along in the training.
