These two half-day session will provide you with a basic understanding of the application of Section 3.4. Exits of the 2020 National Building Code of Canada (NBC) to buildings regulated by Part 3 of the Code.
An understanding of the means of egress requirements (the ways out of a building) is fundamental to any code analysis and must be applied in the early stages of building design. It is equally important to the analysis of the exit capacity in existing buildings.
Designers and constructors alike must be aware of the requirements applicable to the means of egress.
