Building Code: Cladding and the Manitoba Building Code (2020 NBC)

In this half-day course, you will review the factors that govern cladding requirements in the Manitoba Building Code. This includes how Spatial Separation, Building Height and Non-Combustible Construction and related standards address fire spread from building to building and on the exterior of a building. You’ll also go over several case studies past and present involving cladding fires.

• 2020 NBC Requirements – Insulation Requirements in Combustible and Noncombustible Construction
• Case Histories – Building Interior Fires Involving Foamed Plastic Insulation- Station Night Club Fire
