BUILDING CODE: National Fire Code Requirements for Buildings

Description

The National Fire Code of Canada (NFC) sets out vital requirements for maintaining fire and life safety in new and existing buildings. This course provides a practical overview of how those rules apply to the operation, maintenance, and ongoing use of buildings regulated under Part 3 of the NBCC. You’ll also cover the foundations of code analysis—occupancy and building size—including how the NBC addresses single and multiple occupancies, the 10% rule, and the role of fire separations.

BONUS!  Included in your course registration is access to Building Code Software designed and maintained by John Frye.  This is exclusive software that you will NOT find anywhere else!
